Overview

fitlits ("we," "us," or "our") helps you track nutrition, exercise, targets, and progress. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use fitlits.

Information we collect

• Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, display name, and profile picture from Google to create and maintain your account.
• Fitness profile. Information you provide during onboarding or in your profile, such as age, biological sex, height, weight, activity level, fitness goals, training frequency, diet pattern, and target weight.
• Logs and activity data. Nutrition entries, exercise logs, body weight history, body measurements, custom foods, recipes, and other content you choose to record in the app.
• Display preferences. Theme, font size, and weight unit settings stored locally in your browser.
• Technical data. Basic service data needed to operate the app, such as authentication tokens and timestamps associated with your account activity.

How we use your information

• Provide, maintain, and improve fitlits features.
• Authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• Store and display your logs, targets, and progress over time.
• Personalize calculations and recommendations based on your profile.
• Respond to support requests and legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers in the app today.

How we share information

We share information only with service providers that help us run fitlits, and only as needed to provide the service:

• Google. Used for sign-in through Google OAuth.
• Supabase. Used to host authentication and store your account and fitness data in a secure cloud database.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of fitlits and our users.

Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. To request account or data deletion, email support@fitlits.com. We will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain information for legal, security, or backup purposes.

Your choices and rights

• You can review and update much of your fitness data directly in your profile and log pages.
• You can sign out at any time from your profile. Signing out removes active session data from your device.
• You can clear display preferences by removing site data for fitlits in your browser settings.
• Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted connections and access controls, to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

fitlits is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of fitlits after changes become effective means you accept the updated policy.
